In a broad day light horror, a man’s hand was chopped off by unidentified people in Dablehar area of RS Pura of Jammu yesterday. The accused later took away the hands of the elderly victim man.
The victim man aged 50 years, identified as Rakesh Kumar s/o Bela Ram, was taken to GMC, Jammu where he was pronounced as dead on arrival by the doctors.
The incident happened at Dablehar village in Arnia of RS Pura where unidentified assailants attacked the aged man and took away his hands, following which he sustained fatal wounds. But when he was rushed to GMC Jammu in Bakshi Nagar, he was declared without life on arrival by the doctors.
Reports have said that the attack was motivated by an old feud between the victim and the assailants.
A case has been registered at RS police station and a through probe is on.
