J&K: 2 dies, 2 hurt in road mishap

In a terrible road mishap, 2 youth died while two others sustained injuries in Dhudar Nallah on Dhar Road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Tuesday (April 9).

According to the report, the accident happened approximately around 7am when four youth travelling on two motorcycles struck by a speeding truck bearing registration number “JK057350” near Dhudar Nallah on Dhar Road in Udhampur, resulting in on the spot of 2 men and wounds to two others.

The youth were going to Vaishno Mata Devi Shrine in Katra in Reasi district, but sadly met with this fatal mishap on the way.

After the incident, the other 2 wounded were shifted to Associated Hospital Government an Medical College Udhampur for treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Shubam son of Sham Lal (22/23) resident of Neely Nallah village in Udhampur, Jammu and Rahul Singh resident of Barola of Udhampur district.

The truck has been confisticated by the Udhampur police and a case has been registered in this matter.
