Samba Police seized 5 more vehicles for illegal mining

 

Samba : In continuation to drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized five (05) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba. Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria, SHO Police Station Purmandal Vijay Verma, SHO Police Station Ghagwal Bharat Bhushan, SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh and Incharge Police Post Goran Sajid Jaral under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized five (05) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district. The seized vehicles are: One Dumper bearing registration No.JK21G-6599, Two Tractor Trolleys with registration Nos. JK21C-0800 & JK21G-8797 and 02 Tractor Trolleys without registration Nos. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred three (103) vehicles have been seized in past six months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would continue checking the wrongdoings of mining mafia till illegal mining is completely stopped in the district.
