Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming Jammu and Kashmir into a “real paradise” and eradicating terrorism from the region.
LG Sinha emphasized the progress J&K has made under PM Modi’s leadership during his remarks at the opening ceremony of the 6.5-kilometer Z-Morh tunnel in Central Kashmir.
“The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wiped out terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir and has turned it into a real paradise. Peace, progress, and prosperity have become the hallmarks of his regime,” said LG Sinha.
The Z-Morh tunnel, which cost Rs 2,700 crore to build, was inaugurated, and LG Sinha called it a “game changer” for the area. He referred to the Z-Morh tunnel as Jammu and Kashmir’s “Bhagya Rekha” (lifeline), providing year-round access to the scenic Sonamarg.
