Jammu, July 29
Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit today demanded stringent action against Pakistan on narco-terrorism and the issuance of a white paper by the Central Modi government on the number of missing daughters in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing media at Press Club, Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena (UBT), J&K, stated that after the abrogation of Article 370, nearly ten thousand daughters of Jammu and Kashmir have gone missing, as revealed in a response to a question in Parliament during 2019-21. He expressed concern that this period coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing nationwide lockdown, which might have exacerbated the situation further. Sahni stressed the need to expose the sinister faces behind this heinous conspiracy and demanded stern action against Pakistan’s sponsored narcoterrorism, which has inflicted misery upon Jammu and Kashmir. He called for crushing Pakistan’s venomous agenda forever. He emphasized that Pakistan has already admitted to using drones to spread narcoterrorism in the region. Sahni stated that if the Modi government can conduct surgical strikes on Pakistan after the martyrdom of 40 soldiers in Pulwama, then after Pakistan’s acceptance of narcoterrorism, a direct strike against this poisonous menace is the need of the hour. Sahni also urged all opposition parties, especially members of the “INDIA” forum, to create pressure in both houses of Parliament to issue a white paper on the missing daughters of Jammu and Kashmir and to identify and apprehend the culprits behind this grave issue.
