Handwara 06 Feb 2025: The long-awaited construction of the ₹12.50 crore Bakhiakher Bridge is now underway, marking a significant step in fulfilling a long-pending public demand. Executive Engineer (R&B) Farooq Ahmad Shah visited the construction site to assess the ongoing work and ensure timely completion of the project.
During his inspection, Exn Farooq Ah Shah reviewed the progress made so far and emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards in construction. He directed the engineers and contractors to expedite the work while adhering to safety protocols and technical specifications. The bridge, once completed, will enhance connectivity and ease transportation challenges for local residents.
