Corona songs and no march past during I-Day function in Bandipora

Deputy commissioner, Owais Ahmad, who hoisted the flag at SK stadium here in his speech apart from providing the developmental scenario of the district also laid emphasis on the COVID-19 pandemic by saying that ‘the world is passing through a situation which nobody had even thought of’.

He also appreciated the role of corona warriors who have been at the forefront of fighting the virus.
“I wholeheartedly thank and especially congratulate all those who have been fighting the virus in the forefront as Carona warriors,” Ahmad said, adding: “without caring for their own lives they have delivered duties day and night taking care of the sick.”
