DGCA suspends SpiceJet’s licence to carry dangerous goods for 30 days

DGCA suspended SpiceJet’s licence for transportation of ‘dangerous goods’ for 30 days for alleged violations, reports said.

During this period, SpiceJet won’t be allowed to carry dangerous goods, including lithium-ion batteries, on domestic as well as international flights, reports added.

This comes after a package was reportedly mistakenly declared ‘non-dangerous’ by a shipper, as per SpiceJet.
