Don’t sell power on exchanges at high price & starve public

Govt warns states
Amid reports of a coal shortage in India, the Centre has warned states against selling power on the exchanges at “high price” and “starving their own consumers”. If any state is found doing so, their unallocated power “shall be withdrawn” and allocated to needy states, the government said. The government asked states to use unallocated power to supply electricity 24×7.
