First civilian flight from Kabul since US exit lands in Doha

The first international civilian flight after US exit from Afghanistan departed Kabul on Thursday carrying more than 100 foreigners, including some US citizens.

The flight, operated by Qatar Airways, landed at Doha’s Hamad International Airport.

Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said, “We thank the Taliban for their cooperation.”
