‘No response’ to J&K Panthers Party’s ‘bandh call’, leaders detained

The ‘Jammu Bandh’ call of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Saturday evoked ‘no response,’ while the leaders were also detained by police, before the protest march here.
The shutdown call was to protest snapping of mobile internet service and start of poll post at Sarore in Samba.
Mobile internet was snapped in Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, to bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories.
