Public Outreach-II testimony to Modi Govt’s seriousness towards J&K: Sham Langar

Senior BJP leader and Convenor BJP Trade & Industries Cell, J&K, Sham Lal Langar on Wednesday said that PM Narendra Modi led government is eager to resolve the issues of people on priority and for this second phase of public outreach programme has been envisaged.

In a statement issued to media persons, Sham Langar said that 36 ministers including 12 cabinet rank are about to visit J&K to have first hand information of ground situation and take initiatives to mitigate the problems faced by the people. He said that under the aforesaid programme already many ministers have visited the UT and held interactions with common people to give feedback to Union Home Ministry to take up the matters on priority and chalk-out strategy to make life of people of J&K convenient and trouble-free.

The senior BJP leader informed that over 70 Union Ministers are expected to visit J&K to have complete picture of condition of the people and to know the status of centrally sponsored schemes’ in the UT. He said that Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) are taking keen interest in this endeavour which is first of its kind in the country as no other dispensation at the centre did such an exercise where horde of central ministers visited J&K under the obligation and held interactions with the people to resolve the burning issues and shape future policies in accordance with the requirement and demands.

Sham Langar said that the way BJP Government is focusing on J&K the days are not far when this region will outpace many advanced states in the country as already new industrial policy, new film policy and new excise policy have changed the scenario in the UT and it is likely that more such changes are going to take place for creating vistas of opportunities for the people living in this part of the country facing sluggishness since last many decades due to turmoil and tumult and successive government’s indifference.
