Supreme Court Asks J&K High Court To Decide On Pleas Seeking Review In Roshni Land Scam

The Roshni Land Scam was declared illegal by the J&K High Court after the case was brought into the interest of the J&K High court. A CBI Probe has been going on in the case and many big names are being listed in the list of fraudsters. But now the Supreme Court has stepped into the matter as some petitioners have filed the case in Supreme court. The Supreme Court. The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the J&K High Court to decide on pleas seeking the review of the Roshni Land Scam and also asked the J&K Government to not take any action against the petitioners who have approached the Supreme Court as they are land grabbers. Earlier the date to decide was 11 December but it was postponed to 21 December.

The Supreme Court is waiting for the outcomes from the J&K High Court and after that, the apex court will hear the appeals filed against the Scam in the last week of January. Yesterday a bench headed by Justice NV Raman heard the oral appeal of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and asked the J&K High Court to review the Roshni Land Act and asked the petitioners to wait.

As per the sources, the hearing in Roshni Land Act will also take place today and many manor decisions will be taken during the hearing by the High Court.
