‘United Grant’ of Rs 50 lakh to DCs for meeting urgent public demands: LG Sinha

Lieutenant Governor (LG), Manoj Sinha visited Baramulla district of Kashmir valley on Wednesday and reviewed developmental scenario in the district.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha announces Rs 50 lakh as first installment of untied grant to all Deputy Commissioners across J&K for meeting public demands of urgent nature and accentuating the overall developmental ecosystem in the UT.

Meanwhile, LG Sinha visits Baramulla, where he reviews developmental scenario of the District and approves ₹21 crore funding under JKIDFC for completing long pending Jetty Bridge. He also directs completion of the project within 2 years.

During his visit, LG also e-inaugurated various developmental projects at Baramulla.

Earlier on Tuesday, LG Sinha visited Ganderbal district and reviewed the development scenario of the District.

There, he e-inaugurated 12 developmental projects, laid e-foundation stone of 3 projects of public importance and inspected road widening/ 4 laning work from Pandach chowk to Beehama chowk.
