Youm-e-Ashoora: Labour from B’pora travels 85 kms to donate blood at Zadibal, Sgr

A labour from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, travelled almost 85 kilometers on Saturday to reach Zadibal here to donate blood on the eve of
Ashoora.
The news agency Correspondent met Abdul Rehman Najar, a resident of Rafiabad area of Bandipora, when he was donating his blood during the main Muharram procession at Zadibal area today.
Najar has traveled almost 85 kilometers to donate blood at Zadibal. According to Najar, he has been donating his blood on this occasion for the last several years, saying that he has so far donated his blood almost 10 times.
“Donating blood is always the best way to stay strong,” he said, adding that the blood donation is aimed at saving the precious lives of others.
He added that he has been donating blood to help the needy patients to save their lives.
“Most of the people are afraid of donating blood, but the fact is that the blood donation helps to stay fit and healthy. I was having some skin related issues, but since I have started donating blood, all the issues have come to an end,” he said. He appealed to people to come forward and save precious lives by donating blood.
