Anantnag: Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag has achieved a milestone by becoming the first among the newly established medical colleges to set up its own Cath Lab. The facility was inaugurated today by Health Minister Sakina Itoo.
Addressing reporters after the inauguration, Sakina highlighted that the demand for a Cath Lab in Anantnag had been consistently raised in meetings, and today, the facility has been dedicated to the people of South Kashmir.
She emphasized that after divine intervention, people place their trust in doctors, who can deliver quality treatment only when equipped with advanced infrastructure.
Praising the efforts of medical professionals, she urged them to maintain a compassionate approach toward patients and strive to save every life.
Sakina further stated that the Omar Abdullah-led government is committed to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and is taking all necessary steps to provide improved medical facilities to the public.
