Oil Marketing Companies Cut Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices by Rs 41

New Delhi, Apr 1: Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 41, starting Tuesday. In Delhi, the new retail price for a 19 kg cylinder is Rs 1,762.

This follows a Rs 7 price reduction on February 1. Oil companies typically adjust LPG prices based on fluctuations in global crude oil rates and other factors, but domestic LPG prices for household use remain unchanged in this update.

In December, the cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 62. These ongoing price changes affect businesses that rely on LPG, such as restaurants and small commercial establishments.

The latest price revision is part of a larger trend in fuel price adjustments, driven by shifts in the global market. While the price cut is modest, it will provide some relief to businesses that use commercial LPG cylinders daily, without impacting domestic cylinder prices for households.

LPG prices vary across states due to local taxes and transportation costs, but businesses nationwide will benefit from the reduced rates.
