New Delhi/Jammu, May 10 – Eight personnel from the Border Security Force (BSF) sustained injuries following shelling by Pakistan along the International Border (IB) in Jammu on Saturday, according to official sources.
The shelling occurred in the R S Pura sector, officials confirmed.
The injured troops were immediately taken to a nearby military medical center for treatment.
The BSF is responsible for securing the more than 2,000-kilometer-long India-Pakistan border.
