Srinagar, July 3: The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against Numan Farooq Wani of Zainakote Srinagar for allegedly securing a job at SKIMS Bemina using fake medical documents, including a forged MCI registration certificate.
According to officials, Wani had been working as a doctor at the institute since December 2016 and was drawing a government salary based on forged MBBS, MD and medical registration certificates. The chargesheet in FIR No. 01/2023 under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 201 of the RPC has been filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar.
