Cleanliness drive conducted at BhimGarh Fort to maintain pristine sheen of heritage site

To maintain the clean surroundings at the Historical monument, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College, Reasi today organized a 2 hours cleanliness drive at Bhim Garh Fort. Over 30 NSS volunteers participated along with NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Ajay Kumar and the team collected waste material, removed bushes and cleaned the path from the entry gate to the main area of the fort. Pertinently, for conducting daily cleanliness operations in the fort, the Deputy Commissioner Reasi had issued a monthly schedule involving all the departments. As per the roaster, one department is required to clean the Fort on a particular day and date which is clearly specified in the roaster.
