DODA: Two persons drowned in river Chenab at Durga Nagar cremation site Khellani here. As per official sources, two persons identified as Rohit Rana, son of Ramesh Singh and Sunil Kumar, son of Ram Raj, both residents of Durga Nagar Khellani drowned in river Chenab while attending the cremation at Durga Nagar cremation site Khellani. After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started operation to fish out the bodies from the river. Local people were also assisting the police in the operation. The bodies of the drowned persons were not retrieved till last reports were compiled. In this regard, Khellani Police has also taken cognizance.
