The Directorate of School Jammu on Sunday have extended winter break for all govt and private schools after continuous demand of parents, children in Jammu Division due to persisting cold weather in the region.
Besides this, Primary schools up to class 8th will remain closed till 17th January. The district administration announced that Classes 9 to 12 will be restricted to 11 am to 3 pm, but after 17th January their school timing will be same as earlier.
Earlier, Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on January 6 extended winter vacation for all government and recognized private schools of summer zones of the region till January-12.
