Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad on Tuesday accused political parties about the rising blaze incidents in the Chenab valley.

Talking to the media, DPAP chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad, said, “First, one of my party worker’s newly made house gutted in fire which was worth of 70-80 lac then another worker’s home got destroyed in fire”.

“Now, 75 shops burnt due to fire in city. I’m saddened over this but I think a political party is behind these incidents because it can’t happen like that.

“So many people have suffered lakhs of loss. I request authorities to conduct a probe in these incidents as why in last three months fire incidents took place in Banihal”. Azad said.

“I want govt to give immediate compensation to victims. There are less fire brigades available in Chenab valley and even if there are they lack fuel due to which several homes gutted in Bhaderwah”, he added.
