Former minister and chief of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday visited the family of Hav Abdul Majid of 9 PARA (SF) in Ajote area of Poonch to express grief, who laid his life in the line of action battling Pak-financed terrorists in Bajimaal jungles of Kalakote in J&K’s Rajouri district on November 22 and 23 last year.
Majid was among the five soldiers, that included two captains, who lost their lives during the encounter in woods of Kalakote in Rajouri.
Later, Azad accompanied with other party members went to meet family of Ex-MLC Yashpal Sharma from Poonch and expressed grief over his demise.
