A woman has tried to end his life by allegedly jumping from the Tawi bridge over the river Tawi.
The woman has been identified as a resident of Jammu’s Samba district.
After the incident, the police and local people started a rescue operation and saved the woman and took her to a local medical facility in an injured condition for treatment.
It is not yet known what motivated the woman to take this extreme step to meet her demise.
The tawi bridges which joins the Jammu city has become a suicide hotspot for distressed people as so many persons have tried to take their life.
