A 14-year-old boy died on Sunday (April 28) after he fell from a hilltop into a gorge while playing with a cycle in Khag Nallah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
According to the report, the mishap took place when a minor boy who was playing with a cycle on a hilltop suddenly slipped into a deep gorge at Humble Marmat in Doda, resulting in on the spot of the boy.
After the boy fell into gorge, the local people, police started a rescue operation to save the boy but they only retrieved his lifeless body.
The deceased has been identified as Anuj resident of Marmat of Doda district.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law at Khellani police station.
