Jammu, August 19: It was a proud moment not only for the students and management of the International Delhi Public School but for the whole of Jammu and Kashmir as students of this school met with President Smt Droupadi Murmo at the Rashtriapati Bhawan on the auspicious occasion of the Rakshabandhan.

Notably, IDPS was the only school that was selected from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for this historic visit and meeting with the President of India.

“We are elated and excited to share that our IDPIANs got the experience of a lifetime with a prodigious opportunity to visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and had a chance to meet with the Hon’ble President of India – Smt. Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of Rakshabandhan”, Management of the school said.

This historic and proud moment has been possible because of the rigorous efforts, hardwork and unflinching commitment of the Principal – Ms Randeep Wazir, and the unwavering support & blessings of the Management – Ms Manisha Choudhary, Chairperson IDPS, Ms. Arunima Choudhary, Chairperson IDPS Juniors and Mr. Swaran Choudhary, Managing Director IDPS.

It was a momentous occasion for IDPS Family represented by Dr. Suminder Singh (Managing Director IDPS & Pro Vice Chairman IDPS Junior) and Ms. Priyanka Sehgal, Chief Communications Officer, IDPS and for IDPIANs – Anannya Jasrotia, Anjan Kour, Harman Singh and Amritjyot Singh Tulla meet President of India.

This moment will be cherished forever and etched in their hearts as they presented Rakhis and a token of love to the President of India on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
