Soldier Among Two Killed in Separate Road Accidents in Jammu and Kashmir

Two individuals, including an army soldier, lost their lives, and three others were injured in separate road accidents in Jammu and Kashmir, officials confirmed on Friday.

In the first incident, a tragic accident occurred on the National Highway at Battery Cheshma in the Ramban district. A truck carrying three individuals veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge. One person died on the spot, while the two others sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Civil QRT Ramban and police teams swiftly responded to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.

In a separate accident, an army vehicle traveling from Bilawar to Macheddi in the Kathua district skidded off the road and fell 300 feet into a ravine. This led to the death of one army soldier, while another soldier was critically injured. The injured soldier has been transported to Bilawar Hospital, where his condition is reported as critical.

Authorities are investigating both accidents to determine the causes, and further updates are expected as the injured continue to receive medical care.
