Indian Army celebrated “Vana Mahotsav” on 27 Jul 2023 in Rajouri, Poonch & Reasi districts by incorporating young blood to spread the message of “Cleaner and Greener India” amongst the upcoming generation. The endeavor was also to encourage, inspire & sensitise populace to preserve and conserve the forest cover of the areas. This afforestation drive was focused on theme “Plant Trees, Save Life”. The rewarding initiative witnessed a mass participation of the Awaam, students, Civil Administration and Indian Army personnel’s. The event concluded with the collective resolution of carrying out such initiatives in future and also ensuring the growth of the previous planted saplings as part of plantation drive.
