Jammu & Kashmir, BJP leaders celebrated the introduction of a bill to grant OBC Status to the community in a program organized by BJP OBC Morcha at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ashok Koul, J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.), Kavinder Gupta, Former Dy CM, Adv. Vibodh Gupta, J&K BJP General Secretary, Dr. Devinder Manyal, J&K BJP General Secretary, Rash Pal Verma, National Secretary BJP OBC Morcha, Braham Jyot Satti, Prabhari BJP OBC Morcha, Sunil Prajapati, President BJP OBC Morcha, and other OBC leaders danced on the tunes of traditional drums and distributed sweets among themselves and others.
Ashok Koul, while celebrating the occasion, said to the media persons that OBC People in Jammu Kashmir will get Great Relief as all benefits under OBC Category Will be available for OBCs in
J&K UT.
He said that these steps reflect the love of PM Modi for the common masses of this nation. He said the Previous Govt denied Constitutional rights to OBC’s of Jammu Kashmir by putting them in the OSC category and now after the abrogation of the OSC category OBC people of Jammu Kashmir will get constitutional rights under the OBC category. Sunil Prajapati while welcoming the decision said that the move has sent a wave of pleasure among the community who are appreciating that it is only the Modi government has taken concrete steps to address all the genuine issues faced by the community members.
