Mumbai police detain suspect in Saif Ali Khan attack case, commence questioning

A man who was allegedly engaged in the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was apprehended by Mumbai police on Thursday. They took the suspect to the Bandra police station on Friday morning so they could question him about the case. During an attempted break-in, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times inside his house. The altercation also harmed a staff member. At around three in the morning on Thursday, Khan was carried to the Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim, and he was put into surgery right away.

Around 2:30 in the morning on Thursday, Saif Ali Khan and his two small sons were at home when the incident occurred. When he heard a fight break out in his son Jeh’s room, he stepped in to stop the man who was attacking his kid’s nanny. Six stab wounds were sustained by the actor, including a slight damage to his neck and two serious slashes on his back, one of which was perilously close to his spine. One of the neurosurgeons, Dr. Nitin Dange, stated that a knife that had become stuck dangerously near his thoracic spine had been safely removed during neurosurgery.

Who was the attacker? 

Mumbai police claim that the assailant is linked to one of his employees, who gave him permission to enter the property. The concerned employee is being questioned. The building’s CCTV cameras captured a glimpse of the assailant. Despite being imprisoned in one of the rooms, the accused was able to get out. Mumbai Police have filed a formal complaint against the accused, citing the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita’s non-bailable provisions.
