Today Shri Kailakh jyotish avim Vedic Sanathan trust President Mahant told a press conference that on behalf of the trust, on Tuesday, August 01, 2023, at 5.50 pm, Majestic Grand Banquet Hall, Mishri Wala, Akhnoor Road, A grand program is being organized in Jammu. In which Shri Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Vishweshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj will be given this year’s Shri kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Puraskar .He will be given this honor for promoting Devvani Sanskrit. In order to promote Devvani Sanskrit on behalf of the Trust, the process of awarding Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award to a Sanskrit scholar every year for doing excellent work in the field of Devvani Sanskrit has been started from the year 2017. This year the Trust has decided to give this award to Sanskrit scholar Shri Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Vishweshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj. Swamiji is currently a member of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and the President of the Governing Council of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sanskrit Gurukul Katra Gurukul. In addition, Swamiji is the eleventh President of Suratgiri Bangla, Haridwar and President of Sanyas Ashram Vile Parle Mumbai. At the age of 18, Swamiji came to Sanyas Ashram for the first time as a celibate. On May 6, 1981, Swamiji took the direction of retirement. Swamiji did his Vedantacharya from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Varanasi and M.A. from University of Mumbai. On May 10, 1995, his Guru Ji Brahmalin Mahamandaleshwar Shri Swami Brahmanand Giri Ji Maharaj entrusted him with the responsibility of the ashram and honored him with the title of Mahamandaleshwar in the presence of Saint-Mahatmas. Swamiji is deeply involved in organizing and spreading awareness of Vedic religion through spiritual lectures and cultural programs in India and abroad. Currently Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Member and Chairman of the Governing Council of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sanskrit Gurukul Katra. He had an active role in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement from the very beginning. His work for promoting Sanskrit language, cultural and heritage values through Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul Katra has been commendable. Shri Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Vishweshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj Devvani is playing a special role in the upliftment of the society by doing the important work of taking Sanskrit language and Indian culture to the masses. Shri Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Vishweshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj has made invaluable contribution in the promotion and development of Sanskrit language in India. The students taught by him are today holding high positions in the State Government and the Central Government. The young generation should also contribute to the preservation of state and national culture by following Shri Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Vishweshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj. In the program, His Excellency Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha ji will be present as the chief guest, former minister Sham Lal Sharma as special guest and President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Delhi Kapil Khanna ji Saraswat. After the completion of the programme, there will be dinner.
