JAMMU: A wall collapse during a wedding ceremony in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir left at least 22 people injured, including 12 women and eight children, officials reported on Sunday.
The incident occurred in Dhani Dhar village shortly after the bride arrived at the groom’s residence in the evening. According to officials, the mishap took place at the home of Mohammad Idrees, where a section of the house wall gave way unexpectedly, injuring several attendees.
All the injured were taken to the Government Medical College Hospital in Rajouri, while three individuals in critical condition were later referred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for advanced medical care.
