Doda, 20 June :
The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda had issued a directive on May 31, 2025 (Order No. CEO/D/Estt/7855-7907), cancelling the rationalisation of all teaching staff across District Doda and instructing them to report back to their original places of posting by June 2, 2025.
While the order was partially implemented by ZEO Gundna, 23 teachers who were explicitly directed to comply through a follow-up order (CEO/D/Estt/9995 dated June 14, 2025) have reportedly failed to do so.
Sources reveal that these teachers are allegedly influencing the administration, especially the CEO Doda, to retain their current postings despite the official cancellation. The situation has raised serious concerns regarding non-compliance and administrative pressure within the education department.
