Srinagar, May 10: A missile-like object plunged into Dal Lake — a popular tourist spot in Srinagar — following a series of loud explosions that jolted the city on Saturday morning, officials said.
Smoke was seen rising from the lake’s surface after the impact.
Security forces have recovered the debris, which is now being examined.
Officials also reported the discovery of another suspicious object in Lasjan, on the outskirts of the city, which is currently under investigation.
