The National Highway connecting Jammu to Kishtwar and Doda has been blocked at multiple locations, including near Jathi, Assar, Baggage, Malhori, and Ragging Nalla, due to heavy landslides. Restoration work began overnight, and as of 9:30 AM today, single-side road restoration is underway. However, multiple sections of the road have been severely damaged.
According to the latest updates, the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) is working diligently to clear the road. It's expected that both sides of the road will be clear by 3 PM today. Additionally, adjoining roads in Doda have also been blocked at multiple locations.
