Lagate, June 16:
During the renovation work at Masjid Sharif in the Kachri Lagate area, an old-type shell exploded, resulting in injuries to four individuals. The injured were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Lagate for treatment.
One of the seriously injured persons has been referred to GMC Handwara for advanced medical care.
Police and army teams have reached the spot and are investigating the matter to ascertain the origin and nature of the explosive device
