In a shocking incident, a woman ex-sarpanch in Arnia area of J&K’s Bishnah town was attacked by unidentified goons yesterday in her house.
As per report, unidentified goons came in a alto car in the house of former Sarpanch in Arnia area of Bishnah and assaulted her with sharp weapons and left her seriously hurt.
The wounded woman sarpanch was identified as Kamlesh Kumari w/o Jaspal resident of Arnia of Bishnah of Jammu.
After hearing the commotion, the ward members rushed to the Sarpanch’s house but the goons had left the spot.
A case has been registered at Arnia police station and a probe is on.
