Udhampur Police have rescued 02 Bovines in the jurisdiction of PS Chenani.
Team of Police Station Chenani led by its SHO have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 02 bovines were rescued from the vehicle bearing regd. No. JK02DH 8741 which was on its way towards Ramban without any valid permission.
Two accused persons (Driver and co-driver) of the vehicle namely Alam din s/o Dulla and Mohd. Sadiq s/o Mh Fareed
Both resident of Kunjwani were arrested on spot.
Both the bovines were rescued,and have been shifted to a safer place.
In this regards, case FIR No. 143/2024 under relevant sections of law stand registered at Police Station Chenani
Further investigation of the case is underway
