The Agriculture Department District Samba, under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Development Council, Keshav Dutt Sharma, organized a live telecast (webcasting) of the release of 14th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samaan Nidhi Yojana and launch of other initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Sikar- Rajasthan, the other day. Around 100 local farmers, PRIs and government functionaries watched the telecast held in the conference hall of the DC Office. In Samba District, 17,942 farmers were among the beneficiaries, receiving the Direct Transfer of Rs 3.69 crore in their accounts (Rs 2000 each).
