K.V No.1 Jammu organizes Janbhagidhari events under PM SHRI schools under NEP 2020

Jammu, July 28
The department of school education and literacy, ministry of education, government of India has started a PM SHRI programme. Under this programme there is a provision of setting up more than 14500 PM SHRI schools (PM School for Rising India) by strengthening the schools. These schools will showcase the implementation of the National Education Policy, 2020 and emerge as exemplary schools over a period of time and also offer leadership to other schools in the neighborhood.This is a new initiative of center government to bring revolutionary changes.
In this regard, K.V No.1 Jammu organized Janbhagidhari events at various levels from 25 July to 28 July 2023 .The event started from 25th July, principal K.V No.1 Jammu Sh. Amit Walter sensitized the staff, students and parents about the PM SHRI programme. Under this programme on 26th July, Rangoli competition was organized along with teacher’s talk about the PM SHRI programme. The cycle rally was also organized by the students in this context. Under the green events; tree plantation drive was also held by the Principal, Teachers and the Students in the Vidyalaya.
Discussions about environment awareness were also a part of this programme. On 27th July a quiz about PM SHRI programme was organized in which the children participated with great enthusiasm. A teacher’s workshop about the making TLMs, TRMs, and new techniques of teaching learning was the main highlight of the programme. On 28th July the programme concluded with exhibiting projects and educational toys. It was the time full of activity learning and enthusiasm for the whole Vidyalaya.
