Bandipora: To examine the current preparations for the approaching Republic Day celebrations, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri visited S.K. Stadium Bandipora today with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Zaffar Husson Shawl and a group of concerned authorities.
A thorough inspection of the arrangements made by several departments was conducted by the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
The Deputy Commissioner was briefed by representatives of the relevant departments on the actions taken thus far to guarantee the event’s seamless operation.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need of timely and effective planning, and he urged everyone involved to do their assigned tasks well in advance of the event.
He emphasised the significance of careful preparation for the Republic Day festivities’ success as well as for everyone’s comfort and security.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the relevant departments to make sure that, well in advance of the event, all necessary preparations are made, including those related to security, seating, lighting, and other logistical issues.
In addition to officers and officials from R&B, Jal Shakti, Municipality, Youth Services and Sports, and other relevant departments, Tehsildar Bandipora Firdous Ahmad Qadri and Lateef Ahmad Khan of DySP Headquarters attended the event.
