CM Omar Abdullah: First Budget a Step Towards Long-Term Solutions

Srinagar, Feb 21: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stated on Friday that while the first Budget of Jammu and Kashmir may not resolve all public concerns immediately, it serves as a crucial step in setting the foundation for the next five years.

Addressing reporters, he acknowledged the expectations of the people and assured that the government is committed to meeting them. He emphasized that while all issues cannot be tackled in a single Budget, it marks the beginning of a long-term plan for progress.

Regarding the flag meeting between the armies of India and Pakistan, the Chief Minister said such discussions are aimed at easing tensions and preventing the use of force.
