Srinagar, May 15: Three militants belonging to the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) group were killed during a security operation in the Nadar Lorgam area of Tral, located in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, on Thursday.
According to a senior police official, the encounter resulted in the elimination of all three terrorists, although their identities are still being confirmed. Additional details are expected to be released soon.
The gunfight began earlier in the day when security forces engaged with militants in the region.
